Terms of Service

These terms apply to every purchase made through meldrune.store. By placing an order you agree to them. Please read them together with our Shipping & Delivery, Returns & Refunds and Privacy policies. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. About us

meldrune.store is operated by Meldrune, a business based in Antrim, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. You can contact us at meldrune@hotmail.com.

2. Placing an order

When you place an order we'll send you an acknowledgement email. A contract between us is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch if, for example, an item is out of stock, there is a pricing or description error, or we can't verify payment; if so, we'll refund you in full. You must be at least 18 years old to buy from us.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (or your local currency where offered) and include UK VAT where applicable. Delivery is free. We accept major debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay; payment is taken when you place your order and is processed securely by Shopify Payments. If we discover an obvious pricing error we'll contact you before dispatch and give you the option to reconfirm at the correct price or cancel.

Any discount code is valid for the period and conditions stated when it is issued, can be used once per customer unless stated otherwise, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

4. Products

We do our best to describe and photograph our products accurately, but colours may vary slightly depending on your screen, and minor differences in packaging can occur. Products are designed for use with pets as described; please follow any care or safety instructions supplied, supervise your pet with new toys, and check items regularly for wear.

5. Delivery

Delivery times and destinations are set out in our Shipping & Delivery policy. Ownership of the goods passes to you when we receive payment in full; risk passes when the goods are delivered to your address.

6. Cancellations, returns and refunds

You have the right to cancel most orders within 14 days of receiving them under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. 7. Our liability

If we fail to comply with these terms we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach, but we are not responsible for any loss that was not foreseeable. We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any matter where it would be unlawful to do so. We supply products for domestic and private use only.

8. Reviews and content

We only publish reviews from genuine customers and never write or purchase reviews. If you submit a review or photo you grant us permission to display it on our store and social channels; we may remove content that is offensive or unrelated to the product. All text, images and branding on this site belong to Meldrune or our licensors and may not be copied without permission.

9. Privacy

We handle your personal data in line with UK GDPR as described in our Privacy Policy. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in each email.

10. Complaints and disputes

If you're unhappy with anything, email meldrune@hotmail.com and we'll do our best to sort it out quickly. These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and you can bring proceedings in the courts of Northern Ireland or, if you live elsewhere in the UK, in your local courts. If you live in the EU you may also be able to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
